My BEFORE Pictures
By popular demand and to prove that I really did used to weigh 410 pounds (in case any of you were doubting it!), here is just a sampling of what I used to look like BEFORE I started livin' la vida low-carb:
This is as big as I ever got!
Here I am with singer Russ Taff
In a silly pose at work
I give up! (Look at that gut!)
Hi! Look at me, I'm fat!
With former Kansas lead singer John Elefante
Christian singer Clay Crosse looks puny next to my big body!
How did I let myself get THIS big?!

Hey Jimmy,
My husband and I are both doing the low carb life style, your website is inspiring.

Good job, Jimmy! You are an inspiration. My husband and I are half way through our "induction" period. So far, so good. The first day I didn't feel very well, but now I am doing great and feeling lots of energy and, surprisingly, I am NOT hungry all the time.
I look like that now (not as handsome)your an inspiration. I like the looney tunes tie too.
THANKS Paul! You're gettin' there buddy! Keep at it.
Man Jimmy, you sure did an awesome job losing the fat. I, too, have been on a fat loss journey lately. Although I didn't have as much to lose, I created a blog chronicling my progress complete with weekly progress pics. Check it out to see how an ordinary guy went flabby to ripped in just a few short months.

Keep up the good work...

Jimmy, you are da man....as a person with a naturally fat mentality, I have struggled all my life. I tried the Adkins, plus almost all others, and I fell off. I finally have met someone who is teaching me the naturally thin mentality. I'm looking for the final solution! So glad you found something that works for you. I'm down 25 lbs. with no diet. All brain work. Keep up the encouragement for all of us who need it!
OK I was just informed that the statin drug I am taking is affecting blood clots I know TMI - but I googled high fiber food blogs and yours popped up. Thank you so very much for all the info..you are now on my blog roll and will visit often. I'm not as concerned about the weight loss but the lowering of my cholesterol.........thanks again and congrats on ALL of your accomplishments.
THANKS for your comment, doodles. Keep reading because lowering cholesterol with a statin drug isn't exactly very good for you either as I have blogged about many times before. Eating a healthy low-carb lifestyle will naturally bring your HDL "good" cholesterol up, triglycerides down, and that's a better measure of heart health risks than LDL or total cholesterol.
Congrats, I went from 210 to 155 in 6 months with no exercise 8 YEARS AGO and I'm still truckin'. Nothing else worked.
With no nods to GEICO, it is the cave man diet we evolved to eat for the most part. The numbers don't lie! It really is a lifetime commitment though, I've seen a sad number of sling shot examples going off of it. A nurse who was envious of my blood work being the most recent case :( She may be trying again though :)
8 YEARS and happily counting...
CONGRATS notam! I'm proud of you...KEEP IT UP!!! E-mail me your full story with pics sometime and I'm happy to feature it at my blog. :D
