BK's Meat'normous Is Low-Carb Nirvana

Burger King's "meat"y new breakfast offering is a low-carb delight

Have you seen the latest television commercial from Burger King advertising their new Meat'normous Omelet Sandwich? Every time I see it, I start laughing out loud wondering what these guys think about it! LOL!

This sandwich is tailor-made for people who are livin' la vida low-carb. It's got eggs, cheese, bacon, sausage and ham. Sure, it's got a bun with it, too, but you can "have it your way" and ask them to leave the bun off. I haven't personally had one of these sandwiches yet, but it's a great option for on the way to work in the morning. Mmmmmmm!

My favorite part of the television spot is when the voiceover announcer says, "It's meat, topped with meat, topped with meat!" YEAH BABY! Can you say low-carb nirvana?!

Despite the negative press that the low-carb lifestyle gets for advocating meat consumption, the fact is that the Meat'normous Omelet Sandwich is fulfilling a need for consumers who want more protein for their bodies which combined with low-carb helps people burn more fat when they workout.

Where are the protests to this new sandwich? Why haven't we seen the usual suspects throwing up their arms in discust at the promotion of meat by Burger King like they do the Atkins diet? There aren't any because for some reason it is acceptable to enjoy meat as long as you aren't restricting your carbs.

Does this make any sense to anyonel? It sure doesn't to me. I think I'll ponder this thought by enjoying a big, juicy Meat'normous Omelet Sandwich from Burger King. Anyone wanna join me?
