Hollywood Icon Develops Delicious Low-Carb, High-Protein Puddings

Hollywood mega-star Sly Stallone helping low-carbers

In this recent blog post I asked if there was any "BIG NAME celebrity [who would] come out and testify to the whole world how WONDERFUL livin' la vida low-carb has been and to recommend it to EVERYONE who wants to lose weight and improve their overall health."

"Is there a celebrity out there who has the courage to do it?" I sincerely asked in that December 21, 2005 blog post.

Well, apparently there is and he's a biggie, too! We're talking about an American Hollywood icon who is most known for his role of Rocky Balboa, Rambo, and others. Of course we're talking about the legendary Sylvester Stallone.

When it comes to Stallone's physical fitness, nobody is going to argue that he is anything but in tip-top shape even as he has gotten older. The man looks fabulous and you can tell he has invested many years of training, eating right, and working out to keep himself that way.

But now he has taken those principles of healthy nutrition and turned them into a very successful business to help others be as fit as he is. It's called InStone Nutrition.

The base product for Instone Nutrition is the most delicious and incredibly nutritious puddings you have ever placed between your lips.

Stallone Puddings have quickly risen to the top of the bestseller lists on many of the online low-carb stores because these are high-quality, protein-fortified snacks that actually taste GOOD because they are sweetened with Splenda and Ace-K! Gee, imagine that! Great-tasting AND great for you! What a concept!

Each pudding container has just 1g net carb (2g total carbohydrates minus 1g dietary fiber) and an astounding 20g of top-of-the-line high-quality protein! For those of you who are sensitive to milk products, you will be pleased to know the Stallone Puddings are lactose-free as well.

This is an excellent before or after workout snack that is creamy, rich, and smooth and will bring a great big smile to your face every time you eat them.

But there's a BONUS nutritional feature with the Stallone Puddings, too, that I didn't notice until AFTER I tried them.

They also contain 440mg of potassium, a vital ingredient that I recommend in my book to ward off leg cramps. If you eat just one container of Stallone Pudding per day, then you get all the potassium your body needs to keep those painful events from coming on. How cool is that?!

So if you are disgusted by protein bars where the packaging tastes better than the product, then you MUST try the Stallone Puddings for yourself.

As you probably have figured out, I am a very finicky person when it comes to food, especially ones that claim to be "low-carb." But Stallone Puddings are indeed the real deal and I HIGHLY recommend them to you as you are livin' la vida low-carb.

Stock up on these puddings because they keep for 1 1/2 years and taste best when they are very cold. I like to put mine in the freezer for about 20-30 minutes prior to eating them and then top them off with a little whipped cream. Mmmmmm!!!

Currently, the Stallone Puddings come in Milk Chocolate and Vanilla Crème, but they are working on several new flavors -- Butterscotch, Banana Crème, and Lemon Zest -- in the very near future. You will have to try them all for yourself.

Thanks for making these puddings, Sly! I wonder if he'll sneak in a cameo of somebody eating some of his pudding in the upcoming 2007 release of "Rocky VI?" Yo, Adrian, check out dis stuff, it's goooooooooood! :)

I live in Australia. I have tried these. They are fantastic! Of course you should limit them to one a day. The only problem is that the chain of store that imports them has stopped doing so.
Thank you to Stalone for doing this, we need more celebrities endorsing Low Carb!

First time reader and commenter here. I have tried all of the Instone Puddings except butterscotch. My local GNC carries them and usually has them on sale. They taste wonderful (with no protein aftertaste).

This is a wonderful blog I found thanks to Dana Carpender's Lowcarbezine! I'll be adding this to my NewsGator. :)
