'Big Blog List' Publicizes Weight Loss Blogs

Jim Foster over at the wildly popular Diet-Blog.com has started something he dubs "The Big Blog List" for people to advertise their blog dealing with the subjects of diet, weight loss, nutrition, and/or fitness.

I was privileged to have my blog profiled at Diet-Blog.com a few months ago and now Foster is giving YOU the opportunity to have your blog exposed to his large readership of people who may be interested in what you have to blog about as well.

You can also take a look at some of the other bloggers out there writing about a healthy diet, including people who support low-fat, vegetarianism, and low-carb, among others. There are weight loss success stories who created their own blog (like me!) and there are people who are interested in sharing their opinions about diet and nutrition.

The process for submitting your blog is VERY easy:

1. Go to "The Big Blog List" post.
2. Scroll to the bottom of the page to the "Add Your Comment" section.
3. Enter the name of your blog in the "Name" field.
4. Enter your e-mail address for verification purposes only.
5. Enter your blog's URL.
6. In the comments section, provide the following information:
a) What: [Explain what your blog is about in 25 words or less]
b) Why: [Why are you writing the blog - 25 words or less]
c) Audience: [Who would be interested in your blog - 25 words or less]

The only requirements Foster makes is that your blog has to have been active for a minimum of three months and contain at least two posts per month. I don't think you should be allowed to call yourself a "blogger" if you only have two posts monthly. That's just my two cents worth!

As of the writing of this blog post, there were 18 blogs featured, including mine as well as fellow low-carb bloggers Low Carb Dave, Weight of the Evidence, and Bowulf: Atkins Weight Loss Blog. I KNOW there are a whole lot more of you with blogs that would qualify for this list, so what are you waiting for? GO SIGN UP!!!
