Bob Harper & Jillian Michaels Reunite For 'The Biggest Loser Australia' 2
Bob and Jillian together again on "Biggest Loser Australia"
Okay, Australia, are you ready for another exciting season of your very own version of "The Biggest Loser?" It's baaaaaaaack and ready to air again on Network Ten coming in January 2007.
After all of the contestants from "The Biggest Loser Australia" Season One did such an excellent job in last year's debut that crowned Adro Sarnelli the first champion, taping for the sophomore season is almost finished and ready for another thrilling few months ahead.
There will be 12 contestants in the same original format for the show that there was last year (unlike the U.S. version in Season Three which had 50 contestants from every American state) featuring AJ Rochester again as the host of the hit weight loss reality show.
But in a surprise casting move, the producers for the Australian version were able to coax Jillian Michaels to come back to the "land down under" for another season joining Bob Harper again, although Michaels was replaced by Kim Lyons on the American version this past season.
Fans of "The Biggest Loser Australia" shouldn't get too used to seeing Bob and Jillian together for much longer, though. They are currently in the midst of training a brand new Australian version of themselves for future seasons. This will be the final season for Bob Harper and Jillian Michaels in Australia and possibly the last time you'll ever see Jillian on any version of "The Biggest Loser" again.
With more than 6,000 Australians applying to be on the show in the Fall of 2006, they had to whittle it down to the dozen who will appear on Australian television screens in just a matter of weeks. The show will be aired six nights a week with weigh-ins moving to Sunday nights for Season Two.
