'Livin' La Vida Low-Carb Show' Episode 156: Low-Carb Nutrition With Nephrologist Dr. Allen E. Sosin

Dr. Allan Sosin says doctors rely too much on medicine

In Episode 156 of "The Livin' La Vida Low-Carb Show with Jimmy Moore," I share my interview with Dr. Allan Sosin from the Institute for Progressive Medicine--who is listed among my brand new "List of Low-Carb Doctors" blog. I shared another podcast interview a couple of months back from Dr. Sosin's colleague Dr. Julie Kahn who shared about diet and fertility. Today we get to hear from the big boss man himself talk about the guiding principles of his naturopathic health approach.

Dr. Allan E. Sosin is a big believer in the use of carbohydrate restriction, especially refined carbohydrates, to control diabetes, obesity, and other chronic lifestyle illnesses of the day and has his own opinions regarding the heart disease link to cholesterol, what diabetic children need to do to improve their disease, and a specific set of supplements that don't get near enough attention for controlling health. We may not agree on everything, but Dr. Sosin is certainly on our side.

  1. Dr. Sosin's photo REALLY reminds me of that guy from Law and Order, the Prosecuting Attorney.
