Chocolate Lover Melting Mama Raves On Sugar-Free, Low-Carb ChocoPerfection Bars

I don't know about you, but there's no way in the world I could ever go completely without chocolate in this world. Say what you want about this food, it is one of God's greatest gifts to the human race. And there are even studies showing chocolate has health benefits. So, to all you anti-chocolate antagonists out there, go stick it where the sun don't shine!

Of course, one of the problems with most chocolate bars has to do with one of the primary ingredients in it--SUGAR! UGH! Some people justify eating chocolate for health benefits but neglect the gobs of unhealthy carbohydrate-infested sugar they put in it. That's why I'm very critical of the well-meaning but not-so-good-for-you CocoaVia chocolate bars.

In fact, I recently learned that according to the government standards in Europe, you can't call something chocolate if it DOESN'T have sugar in it! WHAT?! How ridiculous is it to think you MUST have sugar in chocolate for it to be chocolate.

Here in America we know there are PLENTY of great sugar-free, low-carb options for chocolate, not the least of which is my absolutely FAVORITE chocolate bar on the planet--ChocoPerfection bars! You can dip strawberries or blueberries in it, make stuffed chocolate French toast, and even create your own almond bark out of it.

Well, it seems I'm not the only one raving on the ChocoPerfection bars. Fellow blogger and HUGE weight loss champion Beth Badore--aka Melting Mama--has been doing a series of video reviews lately of various health food products and now she's positively reviewed ChocoPerfection.

Check out Beth's fantastic video review of ChocoPerfection for yourself:

Ya know, I think she actually likes them! Hee hee! Yeah, me too, Beth. That's why I'm glad to be giving away some in my blogiversary contest this month. I wouldn't go a month without having my ChocoPerfection fix. :D THANKS for the fantastic review! They really are ALL THAT, aren't they?

We all owe ChocoPerfection founder Mary Jo Kringas a BIG THANK YOU!

Here in America where Chocolate has been used for tens of thousands
of years by the Inca and Aztec and Mayan Indian High Priests it was
considered a "Link to Paradise" and only these High Priests ingested
it. They grew it on "High Plateaus" in there special gardens. The
(chocolate)plants were carefully grown and nurtured and cared for by
these high priests. The peach like fruit that contained the seeds
that we call chocolate were carefully harvested and dried and then
ground into a bitter powder paste and then ingested in I'm not
exactly sure which manner. Eaten or drank. The "High" that followed
was what was considered to be "A Link To Paradise". Few of these
plants existed and only high priests and high Chiefs partook in these
rituals. This went on for untold thousands of years. When European
armies and priests conquered these Civilisation's there Gold and
Pottery and whatnot along with there Gardens and Plants were taken by
the "New Rulers", mostly Spanish at that time. Taken back across the
oceans to the King of Spain and then the rest of Europe's Kingdoms
was this bounty including these seeds and there history. Europeans
loved these seeds and over time learned to mix these seeds with sugar
and cream to make it more palatable. We now and have been feeding
this to our babies and our entire population from young to old for
some three hundred years or less. Once only few plants existed and
only high priests ingested this drug that makes us "High" and we feel
good and colors brighten and sounds enhance and we "tingle" in
this "Link to Paradise" "High". Yes, we love it as did the high
priests. We then begun to grow these plants by the tens of thousands
of acres on huge plantations throughout South America and other parts
of the world. The industry was born. Caffeine of course being the
main ingredient in these seeds. Tea and coffee were already in use
throughout the "Kingdoms" of Europe and Asia and probably the Middle
East as well as parts of Russia to the north and Africa to the south.
Caffeine is not a minor player in mans evolution. It is a major
player. Just exactly when we started feeding this to our babies is
uncertain but my guess would be during these last two hundred years
or so and probably more so in this last one hundred years. With this
Lactose, Sucrose and Caffeine(Chocolate) we have gone from walking on
this earth like we did for the millennium to what we have now. All in
about one hundred years. Caffeine is a powerful stimulant.
