'Livin' La Vida Low-Carb Show' Episode 80: Why Even Try Weight Loss When All Diets Fail Anyway?

In Episode 80 of "The Livin' La Vida Low-Carb Show with Jimmy Moore," we hear a rather strange theory in favor of NOT dieting or trying to lose weight if you are overweight or obese. This is one you gotta hear to believe, so check it out RIGHT NOW! Click on the "Play In Popup" link below or download it to your iPod:

A fellow blogger named Ampersand from the "Alas, A Blog" blog wrote a seemingly convincing column in defense of ditching dieting forever. He's dead serious about this and states his case with evidence to back up everything he asserts. You can read his piece entitled "The Case Against Weight-Loss Dieting." It's quite a thought-provoking article, so check it out!

Low-carb living is hotter than ever, so keep up with it by:

1. Listening at the official web site
2. Going to iTunes
3. Calling (818) 688-2763 to listen via Podlinez
4. Subscribing to the RSS feed

What do you think about Ampersand's premise that the overweight and obese are better off remaining fat than even attempting to do something about their weight? What flaws do you see in his line of reasoning? Does he make some valid points or is he all wet?

Talk about it and share what YOU think. This oughta be a lively discussion!

THANK YOU for your support of "The Livin' La Vida Low-Carb Show with Jimmy Moore" and I'm happy to hear from you with suggestions for future episodes. E-mail me anytime at livinlowcarbman@charter.net.

That's so weird. I just read that article. And I hate it. I know for me personally I will never give up trying to lose this last vanity 20 pounds and have my flat stomach like I used to have. Never. I don't care what people say about not dieting or eating right or age-related weight gain. As long as I get a new day to live, it's a new day to try and lose some weight and get fit.
