Health.com writer Lia Huber makes same old claims against low-carb
In Episode 86 of "The Livin' La Vida Low-Carb Show with Jimmy Moore," I bring to your attention an article from a columnist named Lia Huber who wrote "5 Diet Myths Debunked" on Health.com. While attempting to sound all intelligent with her "expert" status as a health guru, Huber instead showed just how truly ignorant she is about this amazingly healthy way of eating. See for yourself! It is simply unbelievable in this day and age when so much science is coming out supporting the benefits of carbohydrate restriction not only for weight loss, but also (and I would say ESPECIALLY) health. There's little doubt in my mind that this way of eating is the way we were created to eat for a long, healthy, and vibrant life.
But don't tell that to Lia Huber! She insists that carb consumption is necessary and that livin' la vida low-carb will lead to all these horrific calamities, including heart disease. Funny thing is, she presents ZIP, ZILCH, ZERO evidence to back up that claim while I am armed with long-term studies like this one that blow her anti-low-carb propaganda out of the water!

What is your experience with these issues that Huber brought up in her column? Do you "need" carbs for your energy needs? Or have you experienced chronic "fatigue, constipation and irritability" from being on a low-carb diet? Discuss these issues in the show notes section and confirm or combat her assertions based on your own personal experience.
